Information Literacy (IL) is an important component of education and crucial to modern ways of teaching, learning and research. The main purpose of Information Literacy is to equip students, faculty and researchers with skills that enable them to retrieve information efficiently; and to use same effectively and appropriately for their purposes.

To this end, the Library offers general orientation to the Library, its resources and services for new students. The orientation serves to introduce students on where to find what for their work. An essential part of this is how to use the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC).

The Institute Library, with its ever expanding collection of resources on African Christianity and related disciplines, offers the following as part of its mandate to the ACI community especially MTh, PhD students.
