1. Objective of the Position
The objective of the position is to promote all the activities that the Institute carries out to develop relationships with friends, alumni, foundations and corporate entities that will result in them embracing its vision, and supporting its growth with their time, expertise, networks or contacts, finances and prayer.
2. Key Roles & Responsibilities
The Advancement Director will have the overall responsibility for the effective functioning of the Advancement Unit of the Institute. In particular, he/she will be responsible for the following:
a. Promoting ACI Programmes
Promote ACI’s range of programmes effectively to targeted constituents; Churches, mission organizations, and other organizations and groups in Ghana, Africa, the Western world and beyond.
b. Alumni Affairs
Develop and maintain a vibrant ACI Alumni
c. Publicity/Public relations:
Publicize ACI locally and internationally and manage all of its public relations needs
d. Fundraising Events
Initiate, plan and organize fundraising events for ACI and evaluate same regularly to make it more efficient and effective.
3. Job Requirements
a. Mature Christian with integrity, and a sense of responsibility, committed to the Institute’s vision, aims and objectives
b. Ability to motivate and give leadership to a team of Senior Staff members.
c. Must hold a good Master’s degree in Business or the Humanities from an accredited and recognized University with at least seven years relevant experience.
